WENT TO CADDO TODAY SAW BAMMA FAN AND DMAN AND HIS FRIEND STEVE. STARTED AT 8:00 DID NOT GET A BITE UNTIL 11:00. THEN THEY TURNED ON. QUIT AT 2:00. FISHED IN 5-6 FOW DOWN 3'. USING MINNERS ( SORRY SLAB HUNTER BUT I WILL SET THE TABLE WITH WHAT EVER THEY WANT HA) AND JIGS. AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE ALL MALES BUT THE ONE BIG ONE AT THE TOP. CAJUN DAVE AND I HAVE SAID THAT FROM NOW ON TILL THE COOK OUT ALL THE FISH THAT WE CATCH WE WILL BRING. WELL CD I HAVE 30 FILETS MORE. MAYBE SOME OTHER GUYS WILL BRING SOME.
HERE IS THE BUNCH.

How can you tell a male from a female?

It Is Hard To Tell In This Picture. But If You Had Seen Her You Could Tell From Her Belly. Thats The Only I Can Tell. Lol

From what i've been told look under the belly of the fish, 1 hole= male, two holes= female.

You did good Don! I only ended up with 4 but they were some hosses!

this time of the year it is usually easy to tell a male from a female. The males are really dark and the females are much lighter. A females sides and stomach will be a bright white. The males throat and stomach will be almost completely black. Look and some of the pictures that a posted on here. Lots are very obvious.

I have this friend of mine that was up on Caddo yesterday evening fishing up around the Jeems Bayou area and he was telling me that he caught 4 crappie and 3 nice bass. He said he hooked one bass and it took what little line he had on the crappie pole so he just let the fish have the pole. HAVE THE POLE....He just let it go....He figured well its like only 3ft where is the fish gonna go with his 10ft floating crappie pole. I has asked him " what were you thinking" he said I didn't want to lose my jig. LOL....Lose pole, lose jig, lose pole, lose jig...my solution would have been lose jig. He ended up chasing down the floating jig pole and retreived the pole, jig and 4 pound bass. Can you believe that. Note to self....Im losing the jig. Thought yall would find that interesting.
