Thread: Larto Lake Fishing Report 3-15-09

These are the fish that were caught Saturday by the Dr. Robert Craig party. Needless to say fishing conditions weren't the best due to it being cold and heavy rain. We went out at 10:00 A.M. and fished till noon. Came in for lunch and went back at 2:30 P.M. and fished till 5:30 P.M. until the rain started again. We caught the fish fishing shallow. My wife and I fished Monday morning and caught 38 and I fished Tuesday morning and caught 24. The lake rose over a foot with the 3-1/2" of rain which is a good thing. I will post the pictures of the fish caught Monday and Tuesday when I get a little more time. There was some good fish caught last week by some gentlemen from Mississippi that stayed with us. They had over an ice chest full of slaps fishing the bushes shallow. If you need a place to stay give us a call at Larto Cabins and RV park. That's a good catch there for sure...... The best report that I've seen in a while.
