Thread: Saline/Larto report

Well we must have gotten more rain than I thought. Went fishing today on taylors bayou and around ski point. Talked to several boats nobody caught anything. We caught 3 fish, 1 bass small,,bream,,,one crappie,,small. The current was strong coming off saline lake and going up taylors bayou. Water I bet was up 2 ft. water was nasty looking, muddy,lots of grass/debris floating with the current. Talked to couple guys fishing the banks,,never caught a fish. So we loaded the boat and headed over to ski point, and as we launched, 2 boats was back from fishing and heading to the house.This was around 11:30am. Talked to one bass boat and they didnt have a fish ,,they fished shad lake and buzzards. Sorry to post a bad report but hey its a report. Slab hunter you or anybody else doing anything on saline? water is coming up fast.

Glad we got the water though.. It was on it's way down. A friend of mine walked the banks of Nolans bayou with a jig pole and caught 11 bass after work Tuesday. Thats the only report I've heard. Will be doing a little night fishing Thursday night maybe soo Maybe I'll have somethign to report.

My boat was broke, and just got it fixed yesterday.
Got to spend the weekend working, and because of the crowd, I would rather fish during the week.
It don't look good for me for the rest of the month.
