Thread: Poverty Point Tuesday

Went to PP this afternoon and everything was perfect. The water was probably as clear as I've ever seen it, no wind, warm, and the water temperature was about 10 degrees higher than Friday. Only problem was nothing was biting--nada. Managed 5 with 3 coming from along the bank and 2 fishing about 10 feet deep in the deep channels. Lot of people out and no one was doing anything. Heard some folks say they had not even gotten a bite.

T-BONE. You still fishing by the those deep channels? I heard they were tearing them up near the docks last week...

FoM, yes, I was fishing on the east side around the deep channels. Could be it was just too soon after all the rain and things hadn't settled down. I have to believe they will be biting shallow on PP any day now. Tomorrow would be a great day to try but don't think I'll make it.
