Thread: Caught some Bass 03-17-09

Went out for a few hours this morning throwing a crankbait alond the docks as I watched the shad jumping... released 3 smaller ones but here's the 3 I kept... couple of 3 pounders and one over 4.

I'm not much on eating bass, but those are some nice fish you caught. I'm sure glad SOMEONE is getting to go fishing! I'm sure not!

With nice weather finally here, I have a ton of free time since we have no work at the moment. So I decided what better way to spend that free time than drowning some jigs and cranks.

What a way to waste some time and enjoy it at the same time. Great catch and I bet some great fun. Thanks for the post and picts.

Nice looking bass where did you catch them? What lake?

Nice fish, Scoop - nice grin, too! Maybe some of the other contributors will take note (Duh!).
Whatever, back in 1982 I had hepatitis and had to stay away from the rig for six weeks. Never got really sick, but the doc said no work - so I went fishing - lots. Man, the reds caught fits until I got "well"!
Enjoy the break - and bass fillets (Skinned, chunked, and fried in a beer batter) will help the budget! :D

Congrats on the catch... when all else fails they always seem to be biting, bout like a catfish... you got some nice ones there.

Pete, I took that as a direct shot....lol.... I keep trying to remember when I seen your mug shot on here, and I can't seem to remember ever seeing it, so I don't know if you smile either..... just messing with you... but you still not gonna get me to smile.

These were caught out in the lake behind my girls condos, not alot of fishing pressure so the fish have some beef to them. We're gonna go hit some bass and crappie again in the morning so hopefully i'll have more pics to share... usually I don't smile but the woman took those shots and made me grin a bit.
