    Default Poverty Point.

Has anyone had a chance to fish PP lately? I haven't seen any posts on that pond at all. I would like to go there, but I don't have a clue where to fish there once the water warms up some. We tore them up when they were in the channels. Does anyone know if they have been biting there? Can some one offer where should I fish when the water warms up over there?

    Thanks! Jimmy.

Fishers, caught some a couple weeks ago a couple hundred yards north of the marina fishing 4-6 foot deep in 10-12 feet of water

In the next few weeks the perch should be up on the banks at Poverty Point. Try fishing about a foot deep along the rocks on the east side near the deep water.

Thanks Guys, I am considering going there this weekend. I just haven't fished there in the spring yet. I figure if nothing else works, I can just go where the boats are at. :D

    Default Thanks T'Bone.

TBONE, thanks for the info. I will definitely try that. Are the rocks on the north, middle or south end of the lake. Just to give me some general place to start looking. Thanks again. Jimmy.

I took a PTO day tomorrow and I'm trying to decide on Darbonne or Povery. The issue with Poverty is there isn't any relief from the wind and it's gonna be 10-15 tomorrow. Just saw a lake wind advisory come through for poverty Friday form 10a to 6p.
