Well finally got to go out and do some fishing last Thursday and Friday morning. Feb. 26th & 27th. The wife and I fished Thursday morning till 10:00 A.M. and ended up with 20 nice fish. She had chores to do Friday morning so I went and ended up with 15. To say the least the fishing was difficult due to the strong winds and didn't really get to fish some of the areas I normally fish in the spring. All fish were caught shallow with shinners fishing about a foot deep. More males than females. I tried jigs the way I normally fish but wind was to strong to hold boat properly. Fish ranged in size from 12" to 16". Sorry I didn't take any pictures but I will have them in the future. Back offshore now and waiting next week for full moon. Hopefully the wind will give us a break. If you need a place to stay we would like to have you at Larto Cabins and RV Park LLC. Give Mandi a call and book today. Her cell number is 318-403-2623 or the office number is 318-339-6059. Leave a message if she dosen't awnser and she will call you back.
Thanks for the info on the Larto cabins. They sound like it is a really good place to stay. Jimmy.
"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
