    Default Toledo Bend

    Has anyone heard of any reports coming out of Toledo Bend. I'd like to plan a trip over there shortly as soon as I hear that the bite is on.

    My son caught some bass two weeks ago and they were all in the
    pre spawn mode,with the weather warming up this week like it going
    too I would say this weekend should be pretty good 82 on Sat.Hope
    this helps.

    My buddy fished a tourney there and said he was pulling em in on rattle traps there were so many.
    Said some guys were killing them. We plan to go soon.
    Dat one will make the grease pop!!!!

    Went to the Bend last week and caught around 40 in 4 days. They were all big black males in the 11?2 to 2 lb. range. It was pretty cold and the wind wouldn't let up for nothing. But i think they should be in there any time now. Was fishing in the San Miguel area. Ma y friend called me a few nights ago and said him and his wife caught around 70 under the Lanana bridge at night using shiners.

    WOW. Toledo Bend is so big, I don't even know where to start really. 70 is a great day in my book though...

    I spoke to a guide this morning, Noe Garcia, and he said that they're catching some but not real hot yet. He expects it to get hot in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm gonna make a trip at that time.
