Well I had a great day today on the lake, I got to bring my grandpa fishing today. We have not fished together since I was maybe 12. He has been to sick and his back now kills him in the boat. Well I showed him my seats I bought, so he took a chance! Its just normal fishing seats but he never had any. He said he just sat on the bench in his old boat. He told me my seats are great! We didnt catch many,we only caught 8 ,fishing the banks, but I didnt care today. I was just glad to be able to take him out. I thought it was on,,when we pulled up to the spot, we both caught 2 nice fish as soon as we put the shinner in the water. We caught a couple more then the wind about blew us off the lake and up the bank. They just stopped , fish fish where are you,,,talked to 3 boats nobody was catching anything,,one guy had 2.We are planning on going back next week. Maybe I have me a new fishing partner!

Great story my friend. I know how you feel. I have a 95 year old father-in-law that I would like to take out. His problem is he cann't sit very long or take a bumpy ride. There just aren't any places here that I could put him on. I'd have to fish close to a launch. Glad that y'all caught a few. I bet it made his day.

Now Brendon you know if you would have talked to the people in them 3 boats you may have gotten better info... I still can't get my boat to talk to me... just messing with you... I bet you and your grandpa really enjoyed fishing together.. I can remember fishing with my grandpa before he died, I was around 6 or 7 years old and we did it with cane poles... Congrats on the ones yall caught and thanks for the report.

Great that you could take him fishing. I feel the same each time I can get my dad to go. It is starting to warm up enough that I could probably get him in the boat...
