    Smile cypress 2/25

Went back today, fished the channel in several spots, no luck. Still to early , Drifted at the dam and caught 4 nice keepers and about 15 small ones. Fished 9 to 12 had to leave early water temp was 54. Still had a good time because I got to fish with my dad and brother. That is a good fishing day anytime.

Always wanted a brother. Especially one to fish with.
I'm guessing when you say "still not time", you're referring to the spawn?
These water temps have me throwed off. The river/swamp I fish in is @ 56 and I'm catching 'em in less than 5' but the pits I fish are @ 60 and I couldn't buy a fish shallow the last few times I went out. Thing is the river fish are fat as can be and the pit fish are scrawny. Maybe it's just b/c I haven't found the right areas in the pits yet and they are there?
    Fish and learn, I guess.
