Thread: Lake Bruin

I fished Lake Bruin this past weekend and it appears that the males are starting to prepare the beds. We caught 15-20 on jigs and all the males tails were tore up from fanning the beds. We were able to fill up our ice chest from the yo-yo's that we ran Friday & Saturday night. We finished the weekend with 83 fish.
The water temp is still around 56-59 degrees and should warm up in the 60's within the next week or two.
After I cleaned the fish I realized that I forgot to take any pics so I'll try to remember the next time I go.

Were you fishing near the Park or towards the other end?

No pictures, no proof. Ha. Man sounds like y'all had a blast plus a lot of good eating. Thanks for the report. Keep at em.

We fish on the opposite end of the lake from the park, There's a slew that runs back aways and my buddy has a camp there by the water tower.
