Can't say that I've heard much about that area. I talked to a couple of fisherman a few weeks ago that fish the basin regularly and they said it hasn't been good. Slabslayer73 posted that he caught some around Bayou Sorrel, but I think he was talking brim not sacs. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

All this strong south and southeast wind blowing will raise water levels for sure and that should help also. I caught 2 out of Bayou Black yesterday. One big male and one female. The male hadn't started fanning yet and the female had eggs but was not ripe yet. I got to wondering if they're waiting for the water to rise to cover those hard banks that have been out of the water all winter. Perhaps that will trigger the spawn.

Rosie those are some of the best canals. Right now it seems like hit and miss. Any one of them could be hot this weekend. Just try as many as you can.
