Thread: mermenteau river

went to the river fished some oxbows and caught a few crappie all around 8inches to 1 foot deep came home with like 20 fishe between two boats then we went to bayou amy in henderson fished some drains and willows only caught 1 fish but it was a 1 1/2 pond fish guess we still to early

We went out to mermentau behind jennings friday and fished from 8 til 5 and only caught 2 and missed about 3 more. Supposed to be up on the banks around the trees, I heard cypress trees are no good to fish around there, but I didn't see many cypress trees in the water.
