Thread: Cypress Lake, 1/2/09

My wife & I fished today from about 8:30 until about 2pm. We ended up with 10 or 12 (haven't counted) but it was really slow. We did not catch the first crappie until around noon. Then they busted wide open for about an hour, then that was it!

We fished quite a few different brush piles, drifted a little across from the dam, drifted across from the launch, & several places in between. We were fishing shiners & catching them 3-4 feet off the bottom.

me and a buddy were there from daylight til around 1130. we were in a green and white nitro with a ton of rods ouit the back and front. what were you in?? i bet i saw you and didn't know it was you.

we brought home 16. but there were on the smaller size with only a few good ones.

im heading to black bayou in the mornig.

We were in a green/gold ProGator...

I seen a Nitro out there but it looked more black/white than green/white so I wasn't sure if it was you or not.

Most of our were slabs with only a couple small whole fryers. Most of our time though was spent just watching those rod tips do NOTHING!
