    Default Cypress Lake 1/1/09

Fished Cypress again today. Had a lot of bites and missed a lot too. Hard fishing at times with the wind today. Finished with an even dozen nice crappie. Enough for a good meal. Caught in 18-21' of water, winthin 4' of the bottom. Shiners produced most of the fish, but did catch three or four on jigs (red/chartreuse or red/blue). Not a bad way to start the new year.

Ought to look like 2 spiders with all them rods!

Sorry you didn't catch more, but glad I didn't miss out on a big day. Hope you did better today!

I thought about going tomorrow, until the weather man said 80% chance of rain and 10-20 mph winds. I think I'll just hang out at the house instead...

Nice way to start the new year.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. :D
