Talking 1st Trip to Lake Claiborne

Made my first trip to Claiborne yesterday to meet Randy and do a little fishing. It sure is a pretty lake. No standing timber near the dam where we were. I didn't just tear them up. Ended up bringing 10 home. Few were smaller fish but catching them deep they tend to float if put back. Had a really good time up until the wind picked up. Talked to Randy last night and he ended up with 40. Hated to leave when I did but had something else I had to do. Here are the pictures as I know that is what everyone really wants to see. First is Randy and Eric. And wouldn't you know Randy had a fish. The rest are pics of the 10 I brought home....

    Default Missed you, Rick

I saw Randy after you did out on Claiborne. His fishing partner had just gone in. Sorry I didn't get to say, "hello."

My partner and I ended up with 25; some were pretty good ones. Caught 'em deep. Also 2 stripers, larger about 3 pounds.

I hope you have good luck on your next trip there. Ray

    Nice mess of fish
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. :D
