Thread: Nice Fish

I went to Cocodrie out from Ferriday yesterday. My brother and I caught 16 really nice Crappie. I used a baby shad in Electric Chicken. My brother used a Road Runner in Orange & Green. We caught them between 9 & 12 feet around Bridge pilings. The locals call that lake Horseshow Lake. It is Cocodrie Lake on the map. Most of the fish had Eggs.

I used to hunt in that area a lot and always wondered about Horseshoe Lake. Good to know.
Did you catch them on anything else other than bridges, like docks or trees?

We don't even try any where else because the water was off colored and I have the best luck there at the bridges when the water is that way.
