First off, LOTS OF SUBMERGED TIMBER, DO NOT RUN WIDE OPEN
Bundick's can be real good at times and not so good at other times, I guess its like alot of the other lakes... alot of the lake is on the shallower side, 3 to 5 feet of water, but on the east side of the lake it gets deeper, toward the spillway, its mostly around 8-12 ft, with 4 or 5 holes that get as deep as 25ft depending on lake level.
It is southeast of Deridder, west of Oberlin, northwest of Kinder...
From Carencro, your best bet would be to get to 190 and head west til you get to Reeves,(about 10 miles west of Kinder) turn north in Reeves (113)and go til you get to Dry Creek (about another 10.5 miles) then you turn west on the side of Foreman's Grocery and head about 5.25 miles and the lake is on your right, road sign says Spillway Road, about a quarter mile .. there is a launch on the left, just to the left of the spillway. If you are wanting shiners to fish with, then instead of turning on the spillway road, continue straight for another 1.5 miles and there is Brewer's Grocery on the left, they sell shiners, buckets, crickets, and a few jigs also. If you want to fish the creek above the lake, then you would pass up Brewer's and its about 2 miles to Hopewell Church rd, turn there(right) go down to the 3 way stop and turn left, about another 3rd of a mile down that road you will come to a bridge (Hopewell bridge). There is a launch just on the other side of the bridge on the right side of the road. If you launch there, when you go back under the bridge there is a deep hole there that always has fish, just don't bite most of the time..lol.. and if you go down the creek to the 3rd curve there is a deep hole there too.

You can't fish with a hung line!
