Thread: Cane Creek Info.....

I guess I missed it but I would like to know where it is, how big it is, what it is (lake,creek,bayou,ect) lodging nearby, launches, and any other info anyone is willing to give up. The FM pics of it are awsome. I have now aquired 3 lb and 2 oz of intrest. Thanks very much in advance. JN

Cane Creek is located in Star City arkansas but if you go you may also want to check out lake Monticello as well which is about 20 minutes south of cane creek. Went to Monticello yesterday and caught 19 in 4 hours with one weighing 2pounds 9 ounces but most averaged 10-12 inches. the wind was blowing 20 mph or better which made fishing tough but i bet on a less windy day you could really tear em up. Hey Slip-Cork. Its very close to Star City Arkansas and there is a state park you can stay at. It looks like an old oxbow lake full of standing dead cypress. Just bring some rosies and your patience and you will have a good time. :D
