    Default Removal of boat carpet.

What is the easiest way to remove the carpet on the decks of aluminum boat?
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. :D

Pull as much as you can up by and then try glue removal from home depot or lowes. i didnt use any glue removal. i used an electric sander to get all the rough high spots of glue smooth down and to rough the surface up too. it will also eat any carpet parts still stuck away. I did the carpet thing for a few years and left it to the birds. My suggestion is to go back with roll in bedliner Herculiner from Wal Mart. I love the stuff. Makes the boat look great and cuts down on aluminum noise on fishing. Good for hunting because is dries flat black and is power washable! I hope this helped!
A bad day fishing is always better than a good day at work!

A paint scrapper works for me. The type that has a replaceable blade thats held 90 degrees from the work surface. Don

PS, I've bought from these folks two times and recommend 'em. Free shipping, no tax. DS
