    Talking Biting bare hooks

Went on another scouting trip to the turnaround this evening and boy was the wind whipping.I was trying to hover over a drop with some brush on it and it seemed I was fighting a losing battle. So I slap a 1/2 oz. saltwater jighead on to try and snag the brush to have a makeshift anchor of sorts and this crappie snags it before it gets to bottom.I know it sounds like a fish story and wouldnt believe it myself if it hadnt happened to me.Anyway got a good mess considering the conditions .

I have heard of that happening, just never happened to me.. When I was younger, me, my sister and stepbrother got into some and we ran out of shiners but had some half ones laying around from some of the fish we had caught so we tried them and caught alot more.. I think we ended up with almost 90 that day... So when they are hungry I guess they will try anything............... Congrats on the catch
You can't fish with a hung line!
