Thread: Enterprise, LA - anybody?

My pops is considering buying some land around this area. He didnt have time to tell me much about it but I know its close to the Beouf river somewhere around the Duty ferry.
Sacalait was the first thing that came to my mind. Anyone from or near this area that could tell me about the fishing....particularly the slabs hunting?

Boeuf River can be a good crappie stream when it's down low and clear. So is the Ouachita River. Also, Lake Lafourche near Hebert is good, as is Turkey Creek reservoir. All are fairly close to Enterprise.
