The mighty D'arbonne!! I never would have guessed when I moved up here in 85 that I was moving near one of the best perchin holes in the state!
Anybody doing any better on the lake, say near the spillway? I hope the water is clearing up a little.
I have not heard anything of late but no matter what going is still better than just wishing. I hope you catch a bunch. Good Luck.
I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.
It is clearing up some, but it is still a little over pool that last time my buddy gave me a report. We fish "close" to the spill way & we aren't catching a ton down there like we were. But who knows, you may be the one to wake them up! I am sure I will fish there some this week too. Good Luck!:D

I will be on the lake when the wind lays some. I had heard a report about some being caught in front of the spillway. Jim

Rode by the spillway yesterday at 1 pm and there were not any boats to be seen. There were boats at the Hwy 2 bridge (I saw 4 or 5), and there was 1 boat at the 33 bridge. I got rain out Friday on my fishing trip. Hoping to hit it after Christmas.
Here is a view from the launch across from 33 bridge Friday. Lots of fog and it was lunch time. I was looking at the 33 bridge when I took the pic.

I'm thinking about trying it a day or 2 this week.

I think I am going to hold off of going to the D'Bone for a few more days. I have some other places I want to check out. Thanks for the pics.

Christmas Eve
Still Raining today at least an inch to an inch and 1/2. Calling for more rain and wind. Two weeks to fish and I have not hooked to my boat yet. Next week is looking coller with clear skies. Jim
