    Default Mooringsport Goo Slayers Report

    Braved the winds and took my daughter to Moorinsport Saturday. Did not catch a single white perch but the goo bite was on! This is my daughter with one on the line.

    Goo can really fight hard. I was amazed how hard they could pull for their size. Water doesn't look too bad...

    I agree- they put up a good fight and catching them is always preferable to striking out.
    My daughter caught on about 3 lbs and it was her biggest fish to date so she had a blast.

    A 3lb Goo? WOW. I bet that guy almost pulled her in the water! :D

    Biggest I've ever seen was around 17 lbs. It was caught over by the fence on the outside of the power plant across from Mooringsport. Fill the bottom of an ice chest. Guy that caught it said he thought he was hung on the fence until it took off! Bet it was fun to fight!

    Glad you're daughter had fun. Always good to take the kids out and build some memories!
