well today was a fun day. spent the day with my dad in law and we caught some fish. 55 to be exact. all came on shiners in about 14 fow fishing about 10 feet deep. had to get back to get to the parade. he was excited.

Sounds like a good day Doc. I spent the day with my father in law too but it was working on his camp. Hopefully we will finish up with it before to long and we can concentrate more on fishing! :D

man--i just read my post, and i had a typo, a HUGE TYPO. we did not catch 55, we caught 5. i guess i hit the key twice. sorry abouit that. was not trying to "tell a fishing tale".

Thanks for the correction. I was feeling really bad. I was out there from 7:00 until 12:00 and we caught 1 WP. I have the day off tomorrow and was planning on going to Johnson's Ranch but after Saturday I don't know. Thanks for the report.

yeah--i talked to cajun dave and he was all fired up until i told him i had a typo. and the funny thing abouit it was my daddy in law caught all 5 of them. i had the monopoly on white bass, though. i bet i caught 8 of them. all in all it was a great day.. the sun shined and the warmth on my face just felt good. like a guy said to me yesterday, "it sure beats raking leaves"!!

Well,,,,,,,,,,,, I caught 1444 yesterday, (Saturday) on Toledo with large shiners on planted brush tops. Fished south of Huxley bay 12-18 feet over 24-28 feet. I kind of like this typo biz Mark.

I haven't been able to go in a couple of weeks, but enjoy reading the reports. Like the humor in the typos. Thanks.

One thing I think I know for sure...If it aint real cold, dont go to Caddo.
