How was the bean field road from 1196 to Larto? Do ya'll think I will need to go around through Jonesville on Tuesday? That is if the weather will be good enough to get of this rig Monday.
I am sure you folks ate well, but how was the fishing.

I sure hope they are cleaning a bunch. I just figured I would get my post early, kind of bored on this rig.

The bite was much better last weekend. Although the did bite pretty good on Saturday in the bayou. Nothing happening in the lake yet. Today was real slow, you really had to work for them to end up with a mess. I stayed on the water from daylight til dark and ended up with 29 for today. Saturday I ended up with 32 and could have done better if I would have stayed in the same place for a little while, but we kept moving.
As for the road, it was muddy friday night, today on the way out it had dried up quite a bit, but there are so many little pot holes in it, you have to drive 0-10mph in some parts and others you may be able to get up to about 20. It really sucks, but is way shorter for me than going around.
You can't fish with a hung line!
I came back today and the road had been graded and they were finishing up grading the road. All the wasboarding and pot holes were gone. It should be fine to go down on Tuesday.
I fished this morning until 11 and caught about 20. Fish just up from YoungBlood's in the bayous. IF you want a bunch of barfish, fish at YoungBloods!
Good Luck and let us know how you do.
