LAcrappieman, a great big welcome from the bayous. I've not fished your area but I do know that Lake Henderson and the upper basin are an easy drive from BR and is a very productive area. I've been told that you just have to spend time there learning it because it covers a lot of territory. There are a few members from around that area that will probably chime in and put you in some good places.

ps: BamaFan, judging from the pictures seen here of our members their beauty sleep isn't working, Ha, lol.

Welcome to the site. You have a very short drive to the west to Henderson. i dont know much about where to fish the spawn. But after the spawn when it starts getting hot they move to the deep. Henderson has about 20miles of shade (1-10 bridge). When the water is moving north to south, get on a north to south current and fish 15-20' deep around the concrete pilings and get ready, LOL. My blood starts to boil just thinking about it!!!!!

Welcome to the site. Glad to have you onboard. Like the others have said, Henderson is close to your area. I haven't fished it but once but they say it can be great at times.
