Thread: How to get to the river part of Caddo?

I am still debating on where to fish tomorrow morning. I haven't heard anything good about the Mooringsport area lately, but I have heard of quite a few reports from the river & Johnsons area.

It is supposed to be too windy to run the main lake tomorrow...Can someone tell me how to get to a decent launch on the Texas side around Uncertain & the river?

Put in at the State Park on the Texas side or drive down fm 2198 into uncertain and put in at Johnson's ranch (they have a boat launch but it's not very nice)
