    Default great day in south la

    went to laffitte this morning caught 38 sacalait 3 channel cats 3 keeper bass this place is laded with aquarium sized bass boo koo , a few huge gills one was larger than my hand.

    Great catch. Thats the first report I hear from the Lafitte area since the storms. I know that it used to produce real well on both the fresh and salt water fishing. Looks like its getting back to normal. I've never fished there but I've read a lot of reports. The drive is a little much from Houma.

    its only 1 hr tops i travel hwy 90 a lot a few friends of mine live in houma good fishing there too.
