Default Cold wet day on the water

I took a vacation day to fish today, before the really cold weather gets here. It was raining when I left this morning and rained on me all day. Started off slow and picked up about 8 am, caught 6 keepers and released as many by 9:30. Didn't catch any more except a catfish and a bream until about 1 pm, then caught 10 more and threw back about that many short fish. Had 16 pretty good fish between 10 1/2 in. to 13 in. It was pretty nice out there with very few boats. I had the only truck in parking lot when I left.

    A couple of good ones.

    Todays catch.

Caught these on rosie reds under a slipcork 2-2 1/2 ft deep.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Jerry you starting to sound like Ceb..lol.. Not letting the weather interfere with the task at hand. Congrats on the catch and thanks for the pics. One of my best trips was when it was raining pretty hard.

    Thumbs up Man Man!

I'll take that bad weather catch any day! :D

Maybe I'll be over this bug and get my butt on the lake soon!

Sure been tough watching all my HEROES catch and me being laid up.

    Good job Jerry!

    Default Some fine fish!

Way to go, Jerry. I just may get a chance to try that connerly Bayou next week. Of course, by then, you will have caught all that would have bitten my hook, or the new cold front will have them shut down. Nevertheless, I'll enjoy myself. Congrats again. Ray
