    Default Caddo night trip

I figured I would try to do some night stalking where I and alot of other folks caught some real big crappie on Caddo during daylight hours. I was set up in the same exact spot that I caught fish on a day prior . Lights in water and four poles four hooks each baited with shinners . Not a bite for three hours . I could'nt believe that I wouldn't get a single bite, this was Monday night, and the following morning I set up again in the same spot and hauled 34 nice slabs .
Sure is fun to see so many CDC members on the water up here ,didn't see many back home .

Congrats on the catch Jeff. And back home don't have enough members on here to have more than a couple on the water at a time....lol...... keep us posted, I know you will be doing more fishing now that you are in the middle of crappie heaven.
You can't fish with a hung line!

Good to see you too Jeff. I'm glad you guys did really good. Makes for a nice day having friends like you out there along side. Its not gonna be much fun fishing there if it gets any more crowded. A lot of rude fishermen that cast corks as far as they can all around the boat. Others that run right up to you when you catch a fish, like thats the magic spot or something. One guy hit my boat Tuesday and almost broke two rods. Goof-ball! Seeya soon, Don

Johnny I can't believe all the different places to crappie fish up here ! I will miss those reds and specs but at least I can concentrate one one species more heavily without distraction now.

Jeff; it sounds like you had a great time! Be nice to find them out there away from most everyone at night! Glad you're on some fish!

But Don, I thought you were waving me over there to give me a sandwich or something! I guess you were waving me AWAY from you, HUH? I figured with all them poles you wouldn't miss just 2 of them! Just Kidding! I don't remember being there! That is a pain in the rear, no matter where you are!

Man Jeff you are making me jealous! All that good crappie fishing up there and I am stuck down here with just a few crappie places to fish! If it wouldn't be for family and the salt water fishing I would have to move up there too! Thanks for the report. :D

Thanks for the report Jeff. 34 nice slabs in the morning made up for that slow night. Heck of a deal.

Save me one 3lber thats all I ask. :D

When the weather gets colder and the fish head up the lake to Uncertain we will have to show a couple more Caddo holes. I know a bunch of the crew here fishes up there after Christmas.

    Thanks again for the report,
