Thread: Been A Long Time

It's been a long time since I've been able to do any fishing. Finally me & my little Buddy Kingfisher "snuck" up on a bunch of Crap-ie, that wanted to committ sucide, by running into our hooks. The old touch, finally came back and we were able to catch 72 Sunday on Caddo Lake and was loading the boat by 10:30. Had all we wanted to clean. Had some of the best quality of fish we've ever ran into. We had four fish over 16 inches and the rest from 11 to 16 inches. Several in the 2 lb + range. Our 48 quart igloo was running over. We were culling any fish 10 inches & under. We must have thrown back 35 to 40. Felt good to feel the old "thump" again. Now I'll be up all night, trying to remember how to post some pictures. Hope they turn out allright.

You guys are killing me... I mean literally... I think I may just keel over at work... or go ask for imeadiate medical leave to go fishing.

Huge fish and number like that... I don;t think me heart will take anymore of it. I am young but this is too much...

Great catch there R&R and Kingfisher! Man with all the crappie being pulled out of Caddo the last week the lake level must have gone down at least 3 feet! Good to see you posting again Dickie.

NORMALLY IM OFF ON WEDNESDAYS BUT NEVER FAILS I HAD TO WORK. MY PLANS WERE TO BE FISHING TODAY. LOOKING AT ALL THESE PICTURES ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY.....I WENT TO CROSS SUNDAY AND THE WIFE SAID WHY DONT WE GOTO CADDO AND I MADE SOME EXCUSE WHY NOT TO....... .....GUESS I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED.....GREAT JOB GUYS..:D

Sounds like Caddo is the place to be, in the last week we have seen alot of post with alot of BIG FISH. Congrats on the catch and thanks for the pics, And most important, Welcome back.
