Has the recent warm weather affected the sac-a-lait in any way?

I live and fish in central la,the warm hurt my perch catchin!

Hey Skinny, I'm from that area but haven't been fishing lately nor have I heard of anyone else going. I've been to busy lately completing projects but I hope to do so soon. I did manage a trip Sat morning to Lake Decade and pick up a limit plus of speckled trout. Fished with sparkle beetle or LSU colored minnow baits. We caught some up to 16 inches and only 4 that were short. All we did was drive into the lake and drift with the wind. I hope to make a trip down the Intercoastal between now and Christmas. I'll keep y'all posted.

Greetings Paw-Paw Gene. We will be making a trip to Dacade on Thursday. Your post confirms what we've been hearing - they've been tearing 'em up.

Hopefully we can put a bunch of slabs in the boat and get some good pictures.
