Thread: Late Bloomer or Blooming Idiot?

This is a personel attack on ME!!! Went to Black Bayou yesterday and tried where TF and I had fished 2 days before using the same pattern. It was 38 degrees when him and I put in at 8:30am and it was 64 degrees at 8:30am when I put in! Hello! Is anybody home? At 4pm I had 3 crappies and the cat. I tried one of mine and TF's spots until 4:30pm without a bite and then eased across the bayou to some submerged stumps in 8ft of water. Everyone had said all day that the fish were on bottom, which is where I had tried them. I dropped by the first stump at 6 ft and caught a 1 1/2lber. Then 2 more identical to that one by the same stump! I caught 8 total good fish, not counting the little ones I threw back, in about 15 minutes. I felt like the biggest DIP in the state! Biggest was 16 inches and weighed 1lb 13oz. All caught on grey hair jigs. The cat was 2 oz shy of 3 lbs. I never cease to amaze me!

Them crappie will mess with ya. Still got a good mess of fish.

we know where they SHOULD BE, we know what we need to KETCHEM, but when we get there they done THROWED US A CURVBALL!!
thats why we have to stay on our toes ALLATIME, at home and in tha boat.

Skipper, you better watch it, you know people get banned for them personal attacks....lol..... Looks like you salvaged the day just before it ended....hmmm maybe should have went deer hunting this morning and fishing this evening??? Congrats on the catch and thanks for the pics.
