It was a blast man. My first time there, we just went across from Hooks Marina to 40ft of water and started fishing

Why are all the fish at the dam? I know there are some deep holes further up the lake. Caney isn't my home lake just saying there should be more than one hole right?

I don't think I will ever understand crappie. With ya'lls water temp in the 50s, what in the world are your fish doing that deep?
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Water temp today was 48. I doubt they will be deep much longer.

Man I don't have a clue, it was my first time there. I went off a tip of a general area and fished around till we found them. We caught 4 right off the bat, then had to kind of follow them.
I saw on a FB forum that one guy who did alright caught in 20 Fow.
