Good report, nice catch!
I started fishing from the launch at Youngbloods Landing, caught the fish in the first picture before I could get the other 3 rods set out. " This is going to be a great day" 1 hr and 4 throubacks later I made a move to the Buzzards Roost, nothing but small fish there also. The wind picked up and figured the black cloud was still hanging over my head, decided to call it a day. Almost back at the launch I spotted 1 boat out in the lake and remembered hearing a report from last week that someone had caught fish on the flats. Got the poles untangled and 8 fresh shinners in the water and it was on, had to weed through small fish ending up with 15 good keepers. Also seen an Osprey swoop down and snatch a fish out of the water, that was cool.

Thanks for the report Chip. Yea, I have caught one right off the bat several times and think - Today is the day!- only to struggle the rest of the day. Way to stick with it and get you a mess out of it.
