    Default Bodcau 6-25-17


    Went out this morning , weather couldn't have been better didn't even feel like summer. Fished in the trees along the dam and caught nothing but mosquito bites. I saw about 100 bowfins surfacing the water so I don't know if that had any effect on the fish. Paddled further downstream so I spot with a little current. Fished about 6 ft deep with red worms. The only thing stopping a full basket of fish was the wife calling to come home.

    Thanks, yeah there are some big ones for sure...nothin like the drag slipping on an ultra light lol...feels like you reeling in a blue cat.
