It just so happens, I drove by Buloh Lake Sunday for the first time. My wife and I went for a Sunday drive to Iatt Lake and Buloh Lake. I was shocked to see the water so low at Iatt Lake. They are drawing it down for some reason. It looked like a really nice lake, when there is water in it. LOL. Lots of stumps and cypress trees. Then I passed by Buloh on my way back home. Wide open lake. Probably good for spider rigging or pulling crankbaits. Looks like a popular site for tubing and pleasure boating right now. have to go back in the spring next year.

I pass by Buhlow at least twice a week on way to the disc golf course. I see people catching some at the culvert and trestle in the spring some.

Dapet, where is latt lake? Buhlow is open and shallow. I didnt troll the middle to find any structure but im pretty sure there isnt that much, the deepest spot is near the culverts going to the airport. The rest of the lake is uder 9 feet. If there is good vegitation cover it may be worth trolling around but im not set up for that.

I know this is late but you definately need to give buhlow another try.. I fish there regularly.. But i more bass fish then anything.. People tear white perch Crappie up there.. The bass fishing is good too but you have to keep in mind that the fish startle easy because of only being 5' deep and the heavy boat traffic, so you have to fish small baits.. As far as crappie , being its a shallow lake, when you find one you find tons.. Im new to crappie fishing, so i cant give any advice.. But i can tell you they are there.. And you would be surprised at wgats come out that lake.. 50+ catfiah was caught about 6-7 years ago...

Here is a link to the lake map on google. It's near Colfax. https://www.google.com/search?site=&...k1.OIzNRjm6LS0
