    Default D'Arbonne fishing report 5/1/16*

Decided to try it despite the weather forecast. Water was high and muddy at Stowe Creek, only picked up one fish. Found them where the clear and muddy water met near the spillway. Caught 12, kept 8, all but one caught on a black/chartreuse tube jig. Wind was brutal at times but the rain held off.

Did that 16-incher still have eggs in it? Looks like it.

Striker, nice catch especially for all the fresh water.

Would love to make one more haul off the cypress before they all head to the flats.
