Pearl River area. My friend Doug With the lunker of the Day 2lbs 3ozs 47 total.

Thems some good'uns, Jeff! Seems like a pond would be the best bet right now with this weather and the river the way it is. I can't wait to have a chance to get out. My son has been sick this whole last week.
I'm guessing the came pretty shallow by the looks..?

I did halfway decent at the Turnaround this eve after work. The wind tossed "the bucket" like the toy it is :D. Upon a tip, I banged the banks with a cork...of all things! and didn't see nare a nibble. Hour b/f dark I tossed the cork and worked a pitch-fall-walk the log - through some 13 ft timber...if you weren't all fingers, you wouldn't feel 'em. Gave away 12 and tossed half as many. Should'nt have wasted my time with all the spawn talk....til the weekend........maybe. ha
We're gonna have to all get together soon and do a lil boat brigade attack.

OH YEAH, forgot to say..a 3lber came out of Covington this last weekend.

Congrats on finding some fish. Wed should be a good day b/c it will start warming up. Prob won't fish until i go up to the point. When it does warm up they will be shallow. Tiger that prob wasnt me, the pond i'm in is under lock and key and i'm only a guest. The turnaround ponds should be getting good soon if we can keep the river out of them.
