    Default Toledo report

Back early from Toledo, cold front/bad weather forced us to come home early.Friday morning, only managed 2 keeper sacs & 2 bass.Friday afternoon, rode around alot looking. This morning(Sat) only managed 1 keeper sac.Talked to several people, mixed reports, some fish shallow, some deeper. It was slow for us,heard alot of people catching at night under creek bridges.Still enjoyed the outing, lake was awesome as always.

I have only found them on one stretch of bank so far, but I really have not looked very hard as have not had that much time yet. Fished for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and caught about 10 on a little jig under cork. There was some guys fishing near the same place with minnows and am sure they caught some.

Other than that the 4 really great ones from Tuesday that I got and one pretty big bream too. Just fishing off my bank for them.

Skip,We mostly fished Negreet.Last weekend a friend of mine caught 74 off a brushpile in 35 ft of water, fishing 12-14 ft deep.We caught 1 there.I also caught a good one on a hair jig fished 18 in deep in 3 ft of water. We just couldn't get on a pattern.Did the water level come up since yesterday?

Thanks for the report.. Sorry to hear that you made the long drive and didn't do any good. I am hoping to go up to Toledo in about a month, sure would be nice to "know" that they wouldn't change patterns so fast before to make the long drive up there.
You can't fish with a hung line!

Actually the water has been above full for a good while not and is just getting below full pool. For a while they were not only generating they had like 5 gates open to let water out as it was still coming in.
Hopefully now it will kind of hold.
