    Default Jigs

Can't fish, stuck at home on call so I tied a few new ones I want to try out. I had pretty good success with the ones I posted the other day.

I like the way you have the hair coming out the bottom, that's neat!

Mike I like those. Remember when we were talking on the phone I told you I use a special hair to tie some jigs, well here is a picture of two of them. I used the blue one today to put some fish in the boat. I also used a blue one with a chartreuse head. Both caught fish. Man those look life like in the water.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. Paw Paw Gene those are nice it looks like your using the Flashabou Accent, I might have to get me some the next time I order it really looks good. I have a friend that fishes the basin and he uses a jig like your blue one except the head of his jig is a light blue. The tails or exactly like you said, I like the way a few hairs stick out and add to the action of the jig. I bet if you dipped the tail of the red one in some chartreuse (Dip It) you would really put a hurtin on some fish. Do you order that tail material are harvest your own.LOL

Nice looking jigs.. Today would be a great day for sitting around tying, with this weather that came in.
