Congrats on the catch , looks like yall got into some good quality fish.

Tried the Union Oil canals Saturday, but no luck. Caught 2 small bass, one small blue gill, and one small black sac-a-lait using a pink and chartruse jig. Tried solid chartruse jig tip with a shinner too, but not a bite. I went to the places you told me, and fished along the banks from about 11:00 AM until about 5:00 PM. Oh well, I enjoyed the day even though I came home with an empty live well. Thanks again for the information you shared with me.

slab tracker ..sorry the fishing wasnt better...had some good reports in the marsh area around bayou black...the problem with the union canals is that once the major spawn is over it can be a tough place to fish..the main bayou around the sherman area should be good soon.. i will prob...focus on the marsh areas until may then,,,will be headin after the huge specs at the islands on top water...am going back to the point on tuesday...one more shot at that 3lber..there were some good reports from stevensville also..

tknight...friday was going good at the point..then 2 guys saw us catching some nice fish in my so called secret spot (no such thing on poverty)...they moved in and never moved off...needless to say i was bummed...didnt land anything over 1lb 13....hope i dont see them there this week,,,thanks again for the info on the lake

Me and a buddy went to the Point on Thursday...Kept 41, threw back about 20. On Friday, fished till lunch and kept 23, threw back about 15...Just startin' to bite on bank but this weather this weekend probably set them back.
