Thread: cypress lake and bbb 03/17/2010

sorry for the late post, just slowed down enough tomake this. me and my daddy in law hit bbb at daylight to see if we could do any good under the bridge. the water was muddy, really muddy and had a pretty good current to it. didn't do anything, so we headed to cypress about 745.

on cypress we caught about 35. don't know exactly, we didn't count. sorry for not taking pics. my camera was in my son's room and he was asleep when we cleaned the fish.

didn't catch a single throw backer. all were at least 12 inches, some much better. all were caught on shiners.

Good going Mark. Have they made the move to shallow water yet? I might give them a try again soon, although the yellow bass are in full swing on the Sabine. Me and a buddy caught 127 Monday afternoon.

Doc, were you at Trejo's the other night? I thought I recognized someone from pics on here but was not sure...

Sounds like a good trip! Clinicals have me tied up & not able to get on the water right now, but our spring break starts on Good Friday & runs through the next week...should be just about right for the shallow bite!!!!!
