Thread: Lake Verret Reports

Anyone got any recent reports for Lake Verret? I'm planning on trying my luck there this weekend for some nice slabs. Any reports and/or pointers on shinners vs. jigs, water clarity, water depth and time of day will be very greatly appreciated.

MO is right that Bob has caught some nice ones lately near Verret and southwards. He said it's been off lately so is heading north to catch a 3 pounder, I wish him luck. And good luck to you also. With the moon getting full in two weeks the fishing should be improving. Let us know how you make out. I'm wanting to go myself this year but haven't found a way to squeeze it in yet.
