Thread: where are the fish?

i have been waiting a year to go back to north La...to catch those big white crappie...all the reports are dismal at best...what is up this year...was it due to the coldest winter in a long time?...seems like the water temp..is high enough...fish are still in deep water..according to the reports..and yet you here of folks catching lots of fish at night on yo yos..guess everyone should be night fishin..lol...i am stuck going to the point in the a.m...i only want to catch one fish...3lbs...lol..when i get back next sat...i will post the truth about Poverty..just hope the fishing picks up in the Northen part of the state..it would be sad if the biggest fish i catch is in my own backyard...

Not really. I fish my backyard 99% of the time when I know folks are catching bigger and better up & down the road. I think fishing goes in phases and remembering hearing that (might've been Bill Dance) somewhere, one of the phases was being able to catch fish WHERE and HOW you want to catch them and not being satisfied elseway.
