Thread: Grassy Lake WMA

Went Dry Camping/fishing for 3 days at Smith Bay, didnt catch a fish during day light hours however did manage to catch 66 W/P on 25 yoyo's night time only. I'm glad I had put the yoyo's in my camper before leaving home.

Can you please describe a yo-yo? Thanks a bunch!!

It's a guy who fishes for sac-a-lait when it's so cold he's afraid to pee because he might break something!

It's a spring loaded fishing 'reel' you tie on a tree or structure and set the trip wire, leaving a baited hook lowered into the water at a set depth. Fish bites, flips the trigger, and the spring reels the line back in, setting the hook and depending on the size of the fish, will pull it out of the water or at least keep tension on the line while it swims around. They work pretty well for catfish, but I don't usually use them for crappie.
