Went out yesterday afternoon to Cazan's. Fished the Indian Lake. Fished from 3:30 to dark. No bites for the first 3 hours. In the last hour, we started catching a few. We only ended up with 4 but we dropped 3 at the boat. One actually was in the boat, he threw the hook and jumped back into the water. All were 12 " plus. Water temp was 62 degrees. We caught them jigging with a long jig pole right next to logs.
I may be going to Crooked Creek near Pine Prairie tomorrow for a few days. Will give reports and hopefully pictures.
A Friend of mine went to Miller's yesterday afternoon from noon till dark, and he is a REAL GOOD Miller's Lake fisherman. He only caught 3. He told me that Laccassine opens today and we might make a trip there this week.
I tried Indian a couple times and only caught a couple bream, never could get the sac's to bite, and never could find a launch to get into Cazan's. Thanks for the report.
You can't fish with a hung line!
