    Default Millers 3-13-10

Glutton for punishment, went back today hoping to get on the Sacaulait I found and left by noon, the wind killed us. I should have waited until Sunday.I met LedouxMike from the site , real nice guy, when I left we had 4 and he had 2, I hope he caught a few more before he left, waiting to see post.We ran over to Chicot to check out the water, it is starting to clear up, I could see about 1 ft down on the south end about 18 inches on the north. We didn't get a bite and didn't run across anyone who had caught a fish. I'm hoping someone will post a report good or bad.

Hey Crappiecatcher. It was great seeing a member of this forum out there on the water. Thanks for all your help letting me know where to fish and what they were biting on. I only wound up with the two I had but they were very nice fish and tasted very good that night. This was my first time fishing Miller's lake so I really appreciate the help. At least I didn't scratch like the two times I've fished for crappie this year. Once was at Henderson and the other was at Little Alabama. Can't wait till I hit the fish when they are really biting. Maybe next weekend.

    Default Wind was insane

A buddy and me decided to go off shore instead of fresh water this weekend. Needless to say there were white caps in the bay! So much for having a great weekend in fishing. I know what you mean when you say the wind was bad.

Sorry to hear that yall didn't do much good.. I wanted so bad to hit the lake this weekend, but started remodeling our living room instead. Guess I made the right decision.. Thanks for the updates.

Mike, did you see ANY fish in Big Alabama? I haven't tried there since before the hurricanes?

Thanks. I'll check back about the report. Those are some good looking fillets.

Here's a big of my big crappie.

I haven't fished Big Alabama in years. I only fished Little Alabama this year with no luck. But I'm curious if someone goes. I used to fish that place all the time years ago for bass.
