Thread: Thank You

Granted it’s kind of late and maybe I shouldn’t post this. But I got to thinking that maybe I should because there might be some people on this board that I got to visit with and I forgot to say Thank You too.

I just wanted to say being a born and bred Missouri Boy that the people I got to meet selling Fireworks in Lake Charles, LA were some of the nicest folks anywhere around! I have never met so many wonderful people. I got several comments about my MO CDC sticker on my pickup. This was my first trip to Louisiana and I hope to someday come back and fish for some Crappie. I sure heard a lot of good crappie fishing stories. And may I say the food down there was wonderful! Lucky I didn’t come back weighing 300 pounds!

I live 40 miles to the east but have worked in Lake Charles and your right on the mark with that post but I can say that almost any town you go to in Louisiana you will find some good down home easy going people. I usually don't find that when I travel to other states, I love living in Louisiana, just posting on this site I have met quite a few people and I couldn't think of an ill word to say about any of them. Thanks I appreciate your post on the site.

I didn't meet you, but Thanks for the kind words.. I have lived here in south Louisiana almost all of my life and I can't think of anywhere I would want to move to.
